Terms of use of the Crush AI assistant — Sandbox ShoppyCrush
Version: v1.0 — ✅ recommendations validated by legal counsel (30/06/2026). English translation; the French version prevails.
Crush AI is the AI-powered conversational assistant made available on the Sandbox ShoppyCrush shop, operated by [Legal name not provided] ([Legal form not provided], [Legal address not provided]). The assistant's technology is provided by QIANOV SAS (publisher of the ShoppyCrush platform), acting here as the shop's technical provider (processor). By using the assistant, you accept these terms.
1. What Crush AI does
You are interacting with an automated artificial-intelligence system, not a person. The assistant answers your questions about the Sandbox ShoppyCrush shop and its products, and may direct you to a human contact. Its answers are automatically generated, are for information only, and may contain inaccuracies — please verify important information with the shop. They constitute neither advice (legal, medical, financial, etc.) nor a contractual commitment by the shop. Only the product pages, the terms and conditions of sale and the official shop pages are authoritative.
2. Who the service is for — minors
The assistant is intended for visitors to the shop. If you are a minor, use this assistant with the agreement and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, and do not share any personal data about yourself or another child. Please do not use the assistant for important decisions without verifying with the shop.
3. Who is responsible for your data
The shop Sandbox ShoppyCrush ([Legal name not provided]) is the data controller for your interactions with the assistant. QIANOV SAS acts as the shop's processor: it provides and operates the technology on behalf of and according to the shop's instructions. To generate answers, the content of your messages is transmitted to a technical AI provider acting as a sub-processor: by default Mistral AI (a French/EU provider). Your messages are not used to train the AI provider's models. Any change of AI provider involving a material modification of the safeguards, the location of processing or the sub-processing conditions will be subject to prior information of the shop, in accordance with the applicable processing agreement.
4. Location of processing
Your messages are processed within the European Union (Mistral AI, FR/EU). Any future use of a provider involving a transfer outside the EU would require prior update of this information and the safeguards provided by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses, appropriate safeguards).
5. Personal data ⚠️
The assistant is not intended to receive unnecessary personal data or sensitive data. In particular, please avoid entering your name, address, phone number, an order number, a payment method or health data. If personal data is nonetheless entered, minimization measures (automatic, best-effort masking of certain identifiers on recording) are applied; it remains processed under the conditions described by the shop's privacy policy.
6. Retention of conversations
Your conversations are kept not linked to an identified account, for a maximum duration of 6 months, then deleted. The retention duration and purposes are determined by the shop Sandbox ShoppyCrush (data controller).
Conversations are kept and processed by QIANOV solely on behalf of the shop, in accordance with its instructions. QIANOV does not reuse the identifiable or pseudonymized content of conversations for its own purposes. Only aggregated statistics, containing no raw message text and designed not to allow the identification of a person, may be retained beyond.
7. Legal bases
The applicable legal bases are specified in the shop's privacy policy — depending on the case, the shop's legitimate interest in answering its visitors' requests, the performance of (pre)contractual measures, or consent when you request to be contacted by email.
8. Connecting you with the shop (optional)
If you choose to leave your email address (for example to be contacted back or via the built-in contact form), you consent to the shop using it to reply to you. This consent is separate from accepting these terms and is requested at the time you provide your email.
9. Your rights (GDPR)
You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and, where applicable, portability. As conversations are not linked to an identified account, exercising certain rights may require information enabling the relevant exchange to be located. These rights are exercised with the shop Sandbox ShoppyCrush: [Email not provided]. The shop remains your primary point of contact; QIANOV may assist it technically in handling your request. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL. Shop privacy policy: view it here.
10. Reasonable use
The assistant is provided for normal, good-faith use. Attempts to misuse it, to extract its internal workings, to overload or abuse it may result in limitation or blocking of access.
11. Changes
The shop may update the assistant and these terms; the version in force is the one published on this page. The French version prevails; any translated version is provided for convenience (GDPR information accessible in the shop's language).
